Humanity has traded individuality for a frictionless existence. We sheep follow the crowd.
Crowded explores the loss of self through the personification of sheep and technology’s attempt at understanding humanity through the lens of AI.
My process included building a prompt library in Midjourney, experimenting camera angles, subject matter, landscapes, and depth of field to integrate the sheep motif. My work was then integrated with RunwayML, motion synthesis through interpolation to create seamless motion bringing images to life. Through trial and error, I tested different camera paths and environmental textures to capture what cognitively felt eerie yet familiar. Sound and editing cut for breath and repetition, building tension through clip length and building sound.
